Tools we recommend

The tools we'd pick for a first app, and the ones our fixes come up against most. Some links are affiliate links and are marked; they never change what we recommend.

• Bolt

Building a full web app from a prompt, in your browser

Describe what you want and Bolt writes, runs and deploys the app without installing anything. Good for first projects and quick prototypes. If you already code, an editor like Cursor or Claude Code gives you more control.
